Aladyr

ALADYR, Latin American Association of Desalination and Water Reuse

ALADYR was founded on November 30, 2010 during the International Desalination Seminar II in Antofagasta, Chile.

The Association has the formal support of the Spanish Association of Desalination and Water Reuse through its President, Maniel Rubio; The International Desalination Association (IDA) through its Director and European Representative Miguel Ángel Sanz; and from the Caribbean Desalination Association (CARIBDA) through its Director, Emilio Gabbrielli.

Currently, ALADYR is made up of 74 members, who include Aguas Antofagasta and the Northern Catholic University of Chile.

One of ALADYR’s main missions is to promote, protect and develop engineering, construction, technological applications and developments as well as equipment and materials for desalination and water treatment projects.

ALADYR also represents its members when dealing with public and private organizations that are either directly or indirectly related to this organization’s activities. ALADYR promotes the professional development of its members and the generation of new knowledge within this sector.

Powering professional development for sustainable mining

Gecamin is a Chilean company with 16 years of experience organizing technical and international conferences for the mining industry. Our conferences aim to inform and inspire professionals from all over the world, fostering the exchange of best practices and innovative experiences.
